Do you think I am addicted to Twilight?

This is gonna be a heap of detail here.



First things first, I am 12. I don't give a s--t about age or nothing.



And now, on to the point.



I feel that the story plays a major role in my life and changes the way I act with decisions and changes my perspective of the world.



I just read the books for the second time, and I cried when Edward left, when Jacob %26quot;broke up%26quot; with Bella, and I felt Bella's pain.



I don't really have much merhandise, but that is because of restrictions. If I had a credit card to buy online, or I lived in a bigger city with more stuff, I would go buy lots of it.



I have 2 copies of Twilight, the red-page edition and the normal one. I plan to get the original cover soon, as I have the movie cover. This means I will have 3 copies.



If there is so much as a small difference on the cover, I will strongly think about buying a new one. But if the change is really minor and you can't really tell the difference, I won't really bother.



I currently own:



-About 20 posters.

-In Twilight books, 5.

-I have the soundtrack and I have no idea how I did not end up with the score.

-I am going to be going straight to the music store when the New Moon Soundtrack is released, and I am booking tickets for New Moon as soon as they are made available.



Now, what are your opinions? Considering that is just my first year descending into the Twilight universe...

I will only descend further, but of course I will balance my normal life with Twilight(you could say my new life). Turning to a vampire lol!

Hm, wow, a twilight boy. That's something you don't hear everyday. I'm sure you will read a different book or see another movie someday that you will become just as obsessed with. You're only twelve. Enjoy what you love and don't let people tell you otherwise. Who cares if you are obsessed or not? I've been through all the same phases with different books and movies and such. You need some balance in your life. Something outside of Twilight. Force yourself to read just as many non twilight books as you read twilight books. Too much of anything is unhealthy. You gotta try and keep a balance in life.



If it was anything other than a series of books, every one in the world would think Twilight was a dangerous addiction or cult. Just branch out and experience other books. Okay, it sounds like your a little bit obsessed.

But everyone gets obsessed about something at some stage.

I did love the twilght books, though then they got really popular and i stopped liking them as much.

Its ok to like something alot, though it does sound pretty excessive.

One twilight poster keeps my happy and it isnt even hanging up on the wall its just rolled up under my bed and i have one copy of each twilight book, and if they EVER publish Midnight Sun i will deffinetly get that too.



I agree with everyone else, just balance it up. Read some other stuff, doesnt have to be different genre, just not Twilight.

It will be good - trust me.

Thats a new one... I never heard of a 12 year old boy who likes something like Twilight. What you described certainly does sound like addiction; three books?...really?....come on dude thats just a waste of money. In fact, it sounded like addiction for a girl in the beginning... but suddenly admitting you are a guy... thats just obsession. cool it kid.
