How has the internet changed your life?

At the grand old age of 51 (female) I still enjoy listening to eighties/nineties soul music (listening to LL Cool J - Paradise as I am typing this). My husband who is 10 years younger prefers listening to Radio 2 (UK) which is a bit old for me. I have found old videos and tunes on youtube and they bring back really good memories of before I got hitched.How has the internet changed your life?
It has helped me stay in contact from Friends across the globe

I work in the IT business, developing web applications. previously, I was a system/network administrator, so making the Internet available has fed me for a really long time.

INTERNET HAS killed my social life..



because now, id rather stay on Msn or facebook rather then having a proper conversation with people.

youtube is really great for that kinda stuff, and seeing as your 51, i suppose your not exactly addicted to it, as me.





you should never feel like it has been taking over you life, at your age.

get out more and do more outdoor stuff.

I find new music, learn more than I ever would have other wise, find about places to travel, and get deals on my shopping.
