Is it really the definition of cool for beating up a teacher?

Why do some teens my age who have no respect and are ghetto(no offense to anyone) think it's cool, hood, you're hard, whatever you want to put it is so great to beat up a teacher,even if it's a teacher who is a substitute or trying to do their job to tell a student to sit down, please do the work that's assigned, like stop acting up/doing the wrong thing in class. I understand it can be that some aren't home trained, some just grew up in the environment they're in(ex:seeing what they see around them), to make them look tough etc. But why beating up a teacher, videotape it, while there are other students in the room they cheer it on for pure entertainment not caring what consequences it can lead to. Like these from the news really disgusted me because I hate being compared and stereotyped to them because I'm nothing like that period, also stay focused to my education. Just in case you ask, my school which is a great high school for academic studying and career sources for colleges is located in the suburbs with nice neighborhoods but there are also people that come from other parts, ones who don't come from the suburbs attend to the school I go to as well.

What I don't understand is two things:

1: After having the video as the investigation,police being involved,and know that some of the pupils tend to act aggressive, why is the victim still targeted as the bad person, people(especially the student) still want to change the story, and nothing is taken care of like nothing happened.

2.Why are there supporters(unruly teens that think it's funny) say things like this: %26quot; I would beat a teachers *** too, don't care who it is, don't like to be tolwith blacks and sometimes in certain places with Hispanics as well.d what to do she deserve it%26quot;Baltimore/NY/(any state) is a dangerous place anyway,duh%26quot; , %26quot;it's the hood and how we is so%26quot;, and %26quot;Hell yeah, that's whatsup?%26quot; Then cry that they want an education?Is it really the definition of cool for beating up a teacher?
Well , whoever those kids need to be lock up 30 years for this.

It need to have a new laws for that to make those kids going say whoa 30 years forget it.

This is just a sad commentary on our times. Where the gangsta mentality is applauded.

I agree with you. it is wrong and the other students stand around laughing. it is sad. it is not funny at all. it is a wonder why teachers quit there job because they don't want to be treated this way and I don't blame themIs it really the definition of cool for beating up a teacher?
